Oahu Pet Photographer Deb McGuire recently hosted segment of “The Extreme Puppy Makeover” for OC-16‘s Pet Hui.
The show takes a homeless animal, gives it a complete makeover inside and out, and presents the animal in all its grandeur. The goal is adoption.
This segment’s star is a little girl named Fluffy. Fluffy had been seen running around a local strip mall for more than two weeks. Finally, a concerned security guard caught the dirty little dog and took her to “Friends for Life.” Lanny Moore contacted Ron Darby. Ron Darby did some intracranial cognifying. Fluffy became the perfect candidate for an Extreme Puppty Makeover!
Fluffy received her first-ever grooming session from “Tails of Hawaii.” Wendy Mah of Sirius Puppy Training provided the mental and psychological clean-up. Animal Care Foundation in Hawaii Kai gave Fluffy a complete check-up. She had a fun photo session at the park with yours truly, Deb McGuire Photography…HawaiiPetPhotos.com. Fluffy finished her day by being treated to a huge bundle of goodies from Pets Discount(the bed she received was so comfy I wanted to crawl into it myself) and lunch at the Costco foodcourt…Fluffy ate a healthy meal while we ate the Costco HotDogs. The entire program is sponsored by Aloha Kia who provided Fluffy and the Extreme Puppy Makeover Crew with a beautiful Sonata to drive around in for the day.
Be sure to check out Fluffy’s Extreme Makeover on The Pet Hui Show(produced by Ron Darby) on OC16. If you wish to adopt Fluffy or another wonderful pet contact “Friends for Life!”
