HONOLULU, HI:  Local Pet Photographer, Deb McGuire (see hawaiipetphotos.com) created quite a stir a her neighborhood Safeway by conducting a one woman sit-in.  Ms. McGuire apparently upset that the insecticides were in the same aisle as the pet food squatted herself down in the middle of an aisle to conduct her protest.

OK, I did not go that far, but I am so unhappy that I talked to the manager.  It makes no sense to position items that are poisonous to dogs and cats in close proximity to food for dogs and cats…especially now that they have added a fresh pet food cooler to the aisle.  Of course, it would take a very sick person to want to taint the food thusly…but we all watch the news!

By the Way, the manager…off the record…wondered whether a Grocery Store was the proper place to be selling insecticide, anyway.
