Female and male schnauzer by Deb McGuire Pet Photography Oahu

We don't care if you have a camera in your hand Aunt Deb

I have long believed that in order for Heaven to be Heavenly, my pets will be with me.  I take small comfort in that when they are gone.

My oldest sister, Sandee, lives in Parker, CO.  She was pet parent to two Schnauzers.  One, Ben, was uncle to the other, Molly.  Molly knew no other life than with Ben.  Ben was her shield and her protector.  Ben recently became ill, and he died.  His death was not unexpected to his humans, but Molly did not understand.  All she knew was that Ben was no longer with her.  Molly moped.  Sandee noticed.

When Sandee phoned on Sunday, she was crying.

Death can come in two ways.  Molly had gone out into the yard.  Without her protector, Molly’s world was not so safe anymore.  The coyotes hit her fast.  She most likely never saw them.  She most likely felt nothing.  Molly is with Ben.

In order for Heaven to be Heaven, Molly and Ben will be with Sandee.  I believe that in the deepest part of my soul.
